Honey Hot Peachy Wings

Serves 6 | 

The right amount of sweet and spicy heat.

Ingredients:

Canola oil, for frying
3 lb chicken wings
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt, to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 cup peach preserves
1/4 cup hot sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions:

  1. Pour oil into a deep fryer. Bring to 350° F.
  2. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Season the wings with paprika, salt and garlic powder. Toss until well coated. Set aside.
  3. Deep fry the wings for 12-15 minutes, in batches if needed.
  4. While the wings are cooking, place the butter and minced garlic in a pot. Place on the stove and set to medium heat. Cook and stir until the butter is melted.
  5. Add the peach preserves, hot sauce and soy sauce to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until the sauce begins to thicken.
  6. Use tongs to transfer the wings to a paper towel lined plate to drain.
  7. Place the wings to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss to coat.
  8. Transfer the wings to a large plate and enjoy!
