Marinated Beef Shoulder Roast





Serves 8 |
Savory, sweet and tangy in all the right ways.
Ingredients:
| 3 lb boneless beef shoulder |
| 1/2 cup vegetable oil |
| 1/2 cup vinegar |
| 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce |
| 2 tablespoons steak sauce |
| 2 teaspoons garlic salt |
Directions:
- Use a mallet to tenderize beef roast.
- Mix together, vegetable oil, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce and garlic salt in a mixing bowl.
- Place roast in a baking dish. Pour marinade over top and place in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Preheat oven to 250° F.
- Pour a small amount of olive oil into a skillet and bring to medium heat.
- Remove roast from the baking dish and discard marinade.
- Place the roast in the skillet and brown on all sides. Place roast back in the baking dish and place in the oven to cook for 60 minutes.
- Place roast on a cutting board. Loosely tent with aluminum foil. Let sit for 10 minutes before carving.
