Perfect for lunch, dinner any night.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 lb premade pizza dough
Flour, for dusting
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
1 tablespoon water

Directions:

  1. Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil into a skillet. Bring the skillet to medium heat. Add the garlic, onion, and bell pepper to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until caramelized. Transfer to a plate.
  2. Pour the remaining olive oil into the same skillet. Increase the heat to high. Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the heat.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Sprinkle flour over a work surface. Stretch the dough into a 12x16-inch rectangle.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Pour the steak and veggie mixture over the cheeses. Spread out evenly. Tightly roll the dough into a long log. Pinch the edges to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Whisk together the egg and water to make a wash. Brush the wash over the dough.
  7. Cut 4 slits into the top of the dough.
  8. Bake 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Let cool about 10 mins before serving. Enjoy!
