Honey-Orange Glazed Ham

Serves 24 |
A little sweet and a little tangy, entirely delectable.
Ingredients:
1 orange, rinsed well |
1 cup honey |
1/4 teaspoon cloves, ground |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground |
8 lb. boneless ham |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325° F.
- Carefully remove orange peel in long strips. Cut orange in half then squeeze, reserving juice.
- In a small bowl, stir together honey, cloves, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of the reserved orange juice; set aside.
- Set ham on a rack that is placed in a shallow roasting pan. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of ham. Bake, uncovered, until meat thermometer registers 135 to 140 F, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. During the last 45 minutes of baking time, baste ham with honey-orange glaze.
- Garnish with orange peel then serve.
