Crab Linguine Alfredo

Serves 4 |
Create this restaurant favorite at home!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
48 oz crabmeat, cooked, cut into chunks |
8 oz linguine |
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
4 tablespoons butter |
Salt, to taste |
4 tablespoons flour |
Pepper, to taste |
2 cups half-and-half |
Directions:
- Follow direction on linguine package to cook.
- While linguine is cooking, melt the butter in a saucepan, add flour, stir and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour half-and-half into skillet and stir. The ingredients should form a thick sauce.
- Add cheese and season with cayenne, salt and pepper.
- Let the saucepan simmer, add crab meat after 2 minutes. Cook until crab meat for 3 minutes.
- Spoon sauce over the linguine. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese if desired and enjoy!
