Barbecue Bacon Bratwursts





Serves 4 |
A little sweet, extra savory and wholly delicious.
Ingredients:
| 4 bratwursts |
| 4 slices smoked bacon |
| 1 bottle BBQ Sauce, 18 oz. |
| 8 brat buns, toasted |
| Deli mustard, for topping |
| Relish, for topping |
| Coleslaw, for topping |
Directions:
- Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add bratwursts and cook for about 15 minutes. Remove from pot, let cool for a few minutes.
- Preheat oven to 425° F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Wrap each brat with a slice of bacon, secure with toothpick at each end. Arrange bacon wrapped bratwursts on the baking sheet.
- Place baking sheet in oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Open oven door, slide baking sheet out and brush each brat generously with barbecue sauce. Return to oven and let bake for 10 more minutes.
- Remove from oven and transfer brats to buns. Top with mustard, relish and coleslaw.
