Toffee Walnuts





Serves 3 cups |
Sweet and wholesome.
Ingredients:
| 3 cups walnut pieces |
| 1/3 cup packed brown sugar |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 1 egg white |
| 1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
- Heat oven to 325° F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stir together the brown sugar and salt in a small mixing bowl.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white and vanilla extract. Add the walnuts and toss until evenly coated.
- Pour the brown sugar mixture over the walnuts and toss to coat.
- Pour the walnuts onto the baking sheet and spread out.
- Place in the oven and bake for 24 minutes, flipping after 12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on baking sheet before serving.
