Toffee Walnuts

Serves 3 cups | 

Sweet and wholesome.

Ingredients:

3 cups walnut pieces
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg white
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 325° F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Stir together the brown sugar and salt in a small mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white and vanilla extract. Add the walnuts and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Pour the brown sugar mixture over the walnuts and toss to coat.
  5. Pour the walnuts onto the baking sheet and spread out.
  6. Place in the oven and bake for 24 minutes, flipping after 12 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on baking sheet before serving.
