Cranberry Chutney





Serves about 2 cups |
A delicious side for your holiday meals.
Ingredients:
| 1 apple, peeled and chopped |
| 2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen |
| 1/2 cup chopped onion |
| 1/4 cup cider vinegar |
| 1/2 cup brown sugar |
| 1 tablespoon orange zest |
| 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger |
| 1 teaspoon cinnamon |
| 1/4 teaspoon ground clove |
Directions:
- Put all the ingredients into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a low simmer and cook, covered, for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and cook for a few minutes more, to reduce any remaining liquid.
