4 beef cube steaks
4 cups milk
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
Kosher salt, to taste
3 cups vegetable shortening
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg

Directions:

  1. Tenderize steaks, flatten to 1/4 inch thickness.
