Festive Candy Cane Vodka

Serves 3 cups | 

This minty beverage is the perfect celebratory drink for the holidays.

Ingredients:

750 ml. vodka, (your brand preference)
12 candy canes, (full size variety)

Directions:

  1. Break candy canes into smaller pieces. Place candy cane pieces into a food processor. Grind to a fine powder.
  2. Pour candy cane powder into a large jar. Fill jar with vodka. Place lid on top of jar, ensure itâ??s secured. Shake jar until the two ingredients are well mixed. The liquid should become red.
  3. Let the jar sit, occasionally shake to keep candy cane powder from settling. Make sure the candy canes are fully dissolved before opening.
  4. Remove lid from jar. Use a fine mesh strainer, pour jarâ??s contents through strainer into another jar. Ensure there are no large particles in the vodka, strain again if needed.
  5. Place lid on jar, place jar in refrigerator.
