Festive Candy Cane Vodka





Serves 3 cups |
This minty beverage is the perfect celebratory drink for the holidays.
Ingredients:
750 ml. vodka, (your brand preference) |
12 candy canes, (full size variety) |
Directions:
- Break candy canes into smaller pieces. Place candy cane pieces into a food processor. Grind to a fine powder.
- Pour candy cane powder into a large jar. Fill jar with vodka. Place lid on top of jar, ensure itâ??s secured. Shake jar until the two ingredients are well mixed. The liquid should become red.
- Let the jar sit, occasionally shake to keep candy cane powder from settling. Make sure the candy canes are fully dissolved before opening.
- Remove lid from jar. Use a fine mesh strainer, pour jarâ??s contents through strainer into another jar. Ensure there are no large particles in the vodka, strain again if needed.
- Place lid on jar, place jar in refrigerator.
