Double Layered Toffee Cake





Serves 12 |
Full of ooey, gooey deliciousness!
Ingredients:

| Bottom Layer: |
| 1 egg |
| 1 stick butter, (melted) |
| 1 box yellow cake mix |
| Top Layer: |
| 1 stick butter, (melted) |
| 2 eggs |
| 1 cup crumbled Heath bar |
| 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar |
| 8 oz cream cheese |
| 1 cup chocolate chips |
| 1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
| Cooking spray |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Grease a medium pan with cooking spray.
- For Bottom Layer:
- Combine 1 egg, melted butter and cake mix together in a mixing bowl. Pour into large pan.
- For Top Layer:
- In the same bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla extract and two eggs. Beat ingredients together. Add a cup of powdered sugar at a time to bowl, beat until mixed and repeat until powdered sugar is gone. Pour melted butter into mixture and add crumbled Heath bar and chocolate chips. Fold ingredients together.
- Pour mixture on top of the bottom layer.
- Place baking pan in oven, bake for 40-50 minutes. (Middle should be gooey but not liquid)
- Remove from oven, let totally cool before cutting.
