Parmesan Candied Bacon Crackers





Serves 44 |
Salty and sweet with a kick of heat.
Ingredients:
8 oz parmesan wedge, sliced |
1 lb bacon, quartered |
44 buttery crackers |
1/2 cup dark brown sugar |
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300° F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Arrange the buttery crackers on the baking sheet.
- Place a slice of parmesan on top of each the cracker. Lay a bacon quarter on top of the parmesan. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the bacon followed by red pepper flakes.
- Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 35-45 minutes, until the bacon is cooked, and the edges of the crackers are just starting to brown.
