Teriyaki Steak Bites with Peppers and Onion





Serves 8 |
Quick, easy and totally delicious.
Ingredients:
3 lb top sirloin steaks, cubed |
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce |
1 tablespoon light brown sugar |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 teaspoon sesame oil |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 green bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced |
1 onion, sliced into wedges |
Directions:
- Whisk together the teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic salt, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl. Stir until well incorporated.
- Place the steak into the bowl and toss to coat. Set aside.
- Drizzle the olive oil into a large skillet. Bring to high heat, once hot reduce heat to medium-high. Add the steak to the skillet. Cook for 4-6 minutes, turning often to get evenly browned. Transfer steak to a plate. Set aside.
- Place the bell pepper and onion in the skillet. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the steak back into the skillet and toss together.
- Distribute the steak and vegetable evenly across the serving plates. Enjoy!
