Cowboy Breakfast Bagel





Serves 4 |
Easily the tastiest morning meal.
Ingredients:
8 slices thick-cut bacon |
4 sausage patties |
4 eggs |
Salt, to taste |
Ground black pepper, to taste |
8 tablespoons garlic and herb butter |
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese |
Prepared pico de gallo |
4 onion bagels, toasted |
Directions:
- Cook the bacon in a large pan over medium heat. Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Set aside.
- Drain the bacon grease from the pan. Bring the pan to medium heat and add the sausage patties. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned. Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Set aside.
- Drain the pan of grease and wipe off. Bring the pan to medium heat. Add a tablespoon of the garlic and herb butter then crack an egg. Season with salt and pepper and fry the egg. Transfer the fried egg to a plate. Repeat the process of adding a tablespoon of the garlic and herb butter to the pan, then seasoning and frying an egg with the remaining eggs.
- Spread a tablespoon of the garlic and herb butter across the top portion of each bagel. Assemble the breakfast bagels by placing a sausage patty on each bottom portion bagel. Then top the sausage with a slice cheese, 2 slices of bacon, a fried egg, and a scoop of pico de gallo. Place the top portion of the bagels on the pico de gallo to complete and enjoy!
