French Toast Sticks





Serves 4 |
An easier way to enjoy the classic breakfast item.
Ingredients:
| 1 tablespoon butter |
| 3/4 cup milk |
| 3 eggs |
| 1 teaspoon vanilla |
| 4 slices bread |
| cinnamon, for sprinkling |
| sugar, for sprinkling |
| maple syrup |
Directions:
- Melt butter in a skillet.
- While butter melts, in a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs and vanilla.
- Cut each slice of bread, lengthwise, into 4 pieces. Add bread slices to bowl and soak.
- Place bread slices in skillet and cook until browned. When finished cooking, place French toast sticks on a plate then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Serve with maple syrup.
