Cheesesteak Sandwich

Serves 1 sandwich |
A truly delightful sandwich that always satisfies.
Ingredients:
1/4 lb thin sliced sandwich steak |
3 tablespoons butter |
1/4 onion, sliced thin |
1 green bell pepper, sliced thin |
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1 sandwich roll, toasted |
Directions:
- Melt butter in large skillet. Saute onion and green pepper in skillet until tender. Remove cooked onion and peppers from skillet and set aside.
- While onion bell peppers are cooking, combine parmesan & mozzarella cheeses, garlic salt and pepper in small bowl.
- Add sliced sandwich steak to the skillet and fry on both sides. When steaks are cooked, top with onions, green bell peppers and finish with the cheese mixture. Cover with a lid and cook until cheese is melted. Serve hot on toasted roll.
