Make 5-star restaurant quality steaks at home!

Ingredients:

1 ribeye steak
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup basil leaves
1 tablespoon fresh tarragon
Kosher salt, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
1 cup flat-leaf parsley
3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus 2 tablespoons and a small amount for cooking
Fresh ground pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh thyme
2 tablespoons fresh oregano

Directions:

  1. Place garlic, basil, tarragon, rosemary, parsley, thyme and oregano on a cutting board. Chop garlic and herbs together. Transfer to a mixing bowl, add 3/4 cup olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and stir together well. Set aside. (Let sit for 1 hour before using)
  2. Generously rub kosher salt, fresh ground pepper and remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil over steak.
  3. Pour a small amount of olive oil in a skillet. Bring to medium-high heat. Once hot, place steak in skillet, brown on one side, flip only once, and cook to desired doneness. (8-10 minutes for medium rare)
  4. Remove from skillet and let sit for at least 5 minutes before serving. Spoon herb sauce over steak and enjoy!
