Seasoned Steak with Herb Sauce





Serves 1 |
Make 5-star restaurant quality steaks at home!
Ingredients:
1 ribeye steak |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 cup basil leaves |
1 tablespoon fresh tarragon |
Kosher salt, to taste |
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary |
1 cup flat-leaf parsley |
3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus 2 tablespoons and a small amount for cooking |
Fresh ground pepper, to taste |
1 tablespoon fresh thyme |
2 tablespoons fresh oregano |
Directions:
- Place garlic, basil, tarragon, rosemary, parsley, thyme and oregano on a cutting board. Chop garlic and herbs together. Transfer to a mixing bowl, add 3/4 cup olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and stir together well. Set aside. (Let sit for 1 hour before using)
- Generously rub kosher salt, fresh ground pepper and remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil over steak.
- Pour a small amount of olive oil in a skillet. Bring to medium-high heat. Once hot, place steak in skillet, brown on one side, flip only once, and cook to desired doneness. (8-10 minutes for medium rare)
- Remove from skillet and let sit for at least 5 minutes before serving. Spoon herb sauce over steak and enjoy!
