Basil and Lime Tilapia Fillets





Serves 4 |
The perfect blend of tangy and savory.
Ingredients:
| 4 tilapia fillets |
| 1/4 cup olive oil |
| 2 teaspoons bourbon |
| 1 tablespoon minced fresh basil |
| 4 tablespoons lime juice |
| 4 teaspoons lime zest |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
| 1 teaspoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
- Place tilapia fillets, olive oil, bourbon, basil, lime juice, lime zest, salt and pepper in a resealable plastic bag. Seal shut, coat tilapia fillets in marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Bring a skillet to medium-high heat.
- Remove tilapia fillets from the bag. Discard marinade. Place tilapia in the hot skillet and cook for about 4 minutes per side, until fish turns opaque.
