Apple Cider Pork Chops





Serves 6 |
A must-have for Fall dinners.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil |
6 boneless pork loin chops |
1 teaspoon honey |
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme |
1 cup apple cider |
2 tablespoons water |
1 1/4 tablespoons cornstarch |
Directions:
- Pour olive oil into a large skillet and bring to medium heat. Once hot, place pork chops in skillet and brown on both sides. Remove skillet from heat.
- Add honey, apple pie spice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper and dried thyme in a small mixing bowl. Stir together well. Pour in apple cider and stir until well combined.
- Pour the seasoning mixture over the pork chops in the skillet. Bring skillet to medium-low heat. Place lid on top of skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
- Transfer pork chops to serving plates and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Stir together water and cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth.
- Pour the cornstarch mixture into the skillet and turn to medium heat. Stir frequently until boiling and then cook for 2 minutes, until thickened.
- Drizzle the apple cider sauce from the skillet over the pork chops and enjoy!
