Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

Sweet, savory, spicy and scrumptious!
Ingredients:
For Cajun Honey Butter: |
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened |
1/2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning |
1 tablespoon honey |
For Salmon: |
4 salmon fillets, skin off or on |
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning |
2 tablespoons unsalted butter |
4 cloves garlic, minced |
4 tablespoons honey |
1 tablespoon water |
2 teaspoons soy sauce |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
Directions:
- Create the Cajun honey butter by stirring together the butter, Cajun seasoning and honey in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to broil.
- Season the salmon with Cajun seasoning.
- Add the butter to a large pan. Melt over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and saute for 1 minute. Pour the honey, water, soy sauce into the pan. Stir together until well mixed. Then add the lemon juice and stir.
- Place the salmon fillets in the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes, baste with the liquid in the pan.
- Place the pan into the oven. Broil for 5-6 minutes, until the tops are just beginning to char.
- Transfer the salmon fillet to serving plates. Add a dollop of Cajun honey butter to the tops of each salmon fillet. Enjoy!
