Biscuits with Chorizo Gravy





Serves 5 |
A flavorful twist to an all-around favorite.
Ingredients:
10 biscuits |
2 chubs pork chorizo, 9 oz. each |
1/2 yellow onion, finely diced |
3 tablespoons flour |
2 1/2 cups whole milk |
Directions:
- Prepare biscuits according to package instructions. Arrange on serving plates when cool.
- Bring a large pan to medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chorizo. Break apart the chorizo with a spatula, then add the yellow onions. Cook for about 7 minutes, until the chorizo begins to brown.
- Pour the flour into the pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in the milk and let simmer for 5-7minutes until thickened, stirring often.
- Ladle the chorizo gravy over the biscuits. Enjoy!
