Honey Sesame Chicken Stir Fry

The perfect blend of sweet and savory.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
1/2 cup sliced broccoli
1/2 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup sliced yellow onion
Cooked rice, for serving
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions:

  1. Stir together the honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
  2. Pour the vegetable oil into a large pan. Bring to medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken, and cook for about 5 minutes, until the chicken is browned.
  3. Add the bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and yellow onion to the pan. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Pour sauce over chicken and vegetables. Stir to coat.
  5. Divide the rice among serving bowls. Place the chicken and vegetables on top of the rice. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
