Crispy Flatbread with Brie, Cranberries & Toasted Walnuts and a Hot Honey Drizzle





Serves 6 |
Sweet and savory with a gentle spicy bite.
Ingredients:
| 2 pieces flatbread, 8 inches each |
| 1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
| 1/4 cup honey |
| 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes |
| 1 tablespoon olive oil |
| 8 oz brie cheese, thinly sliced |
| 1/2 cup dried cranberries |
| 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves |
| 1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
- Heat oven to 400°F. Place a baking sheet inside to warm.
- Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until they become fragrant.
- Combine the honey and chili flakes in a small pan. Stir on low until the honey is fluid. Remove the pan from the heat.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Brush the olive oil across the sheet.
- Set the flatbreads on the baking sheet. Layer on the brie, then sprinkle with cranberries and toasted walnuts.
- Place in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the brie is melted and the flat bread edges are crisp and golden.
- Transfer the flatbread to a large plate. Drizzle with the hot honey. Top with the thyme leaves and a sprinkle of salt.
- Slice the flatbread into wedges. Enjoy!
