Oven-Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan Cheese

Serves 4 |
Simple, quick and undeniably tasty!
Ingredients:
1 pound broccoli, (fresh, rinsed and trimmed) |
3 cloves garlic, (minced) |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1/3 cup panko bread crumbs |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, (finely grated) |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425° F.
- Cut broccoli florets into bite size pieces and broccoli stalks into thin round slices. Toss broccoli, garlic, olive oil, salt and black pepper together in a large bowl; set aside.
- Toast panko by spreading it into a 13- x 9-inch metal cake pan and baking it for about 2 minutes or until lightly toasted. Add toasted panko to broccoli mixture; toss to combine. Put broccoli mixture into the cake pan and roast for about 10 minutes or just until broccoli is tender. Remove broccoli from oven and sprinkle with cheese. Serve immediately.
