Oatmeal Apple Cookies

Serves 12 |
Combining two fall favorites into one tasty treat.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
2 eggs |
1 tablespoon milk |
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup flour |
2 cups rolled oats |
1 apple, peeled, cored and shredded |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- Mix together butter and brown sugar, until ingredients are light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla extract and eggs.
- Add ground cinnamon, apple pie spice, salt, baking soda, butter, flour, rolled oats and apple. Mix together well. Form into small balls.
- Arrange cookie balls on greased cookie sheet. Place in oven and bake for 9-12 minutes.
- While cookies are baking, mix together milk and powdered sugar. Drizzle glaze over cooled cookies.
