Broccoli and Bacon Quiche





Serves 4 |
A supremely eggy treat.
Ingredients:
| 1 premade pie crust |
| 4 eggs |
| 2 cups broccoli flowerets |
| 4 slices bacon |
| 1 cup half and half |
| 1 cup grated Swiss cheese |
| 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
| 1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper |
| 1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- Cook bacon in a pan until slightly undercooked. Remove the bacon from pan and place on paper towels. Discard bacon grease.
- Beat eggs with half and half and Swiss cheese. Stir in broccoli, salt, garlic powder and lemon pepper. Crumble bacon and stir half of bacon into egg mixture.
- Place pie crust into a pie plate. Pour quiche mix into pie crust. Place into oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Remove from oven sprinkle remaining bacon over top and let rest for about 10 minutes.
