Walnut Brownies





Serves 16 |
Chocolatey walnut goodness.
Ingredients:
| 1/2 cup butter |
| 1 cup sugar |
| 1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
| 2 eggs |
| 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa |
| 3/4 cup flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
| 1 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a large baking pan with cooking spray.
- Whisk together the butter and sugar until well blended. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, beat until light and fluffy. Stir in cocoa.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Add flour mix to the butter mix, stir until well blended.
- Stir in half of the chopped walnuts.
- Spread batter on the baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining chopped walnuts over the batter.
- Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting into squares.
