Honey Sriracha Wings





Serves 6 |
Sweet, spicy, sticky and absolutely delicious.
Ingredients:
7 tablespoons unsalted butter |
1 tablespoon flour |
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1/4 cup honey |
1/4 cup Sriracha sauce |
2 lb chicken wings |
1 teaspoon vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
Kosher salt, to taste |
Ground black pepper, to taste |
Sesame seeds, for garnish |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place 5 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan and bring to medium heat. Once butter has melted, add flour and whisk for 1 minute. Add in lime juice, soy sauce, honey and Sriracha sauce. Stir together until incorporated. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Place wings in a large mixing bowl. Pour 2 tablespoons butter, vegetable oil, garlic powder, Kosher salt and black pepper over the wings. Toss together until well coated.
- Transfer wings to the baking sheet and place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes. Flip wings and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Remove baking sheet from the oven. Set oven to broil. Generously brush the wings with the honey Sriracha glaze. Place baking sheet on the top rack in the oven and broil for 3 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the wings and enjoy!
