Beef Bulgogi Bowls





Serves 4 |
Delicious, wholesome and absolutely easy!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce |
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
1/2 cup light brown sugar |
1/4 cup thinly sliced shallots |
2 tablespoons minced garlic |
2 tablespoons minced ginger |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
2 lb top sirloin steaks, cut into thin slices |
3 cups cooked rice |
1 cup kimchi, homemade or store-bought |
4 fried eggs |
Directions:
- Whisk together the chili garlic sauce, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, shallots, garlic and ginger in a large mixing bowl.
- Place the steak slices into the marinade. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Pour the vegetable oil into a large pan and bring to high heat. Remove the steak strips from the marinade and place in the pan. Sear both side of the steak until cooked and transfer to a plate.
- Divide the rice among four serving bowls. Divide the beef bulgogi and kimchi among the four bowls. Top each with a fried egg and enjoy!
