Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken Tenders





Serves 4 |
Big on flavor and very easy to make.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup coarse ground Dijon mustard |
3 tablespoons honey |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 shallot, diced |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary |
1 teaspoon kosher salt, more for seasoning |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, more for seasoning |
1 1/2 lb chicken tenderloins |
1 tablespoon canola oil |
Directions:
- Whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, shallot, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Spoon half of the Dijon mixture into a resealable bag and place the other half in the refrigerator to chill.
- Place the chicken tenders into the resealable bag with the Dijon mixture, coat well. Let for 2 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Remove the chicken from the bag and discard the marinade.
- Brush the chicken tenders with canola oil. Season with salt and pepper. Place the chicken on the grill. Cook for about 8 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Brush the reserved Dijon mixture over the chicken and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove the chicken tenders from the grill. Arrange on serving plates. Enjoy!
