Slow Cooked Turkey In White Wine





Serves 12 |
Enhanced with simple seasonings, spices and white wine.
Ingredients:
| 1/4 cup butter |
| 2 cups white wine |
| 1/4 cup parsley |
| 6 lb turkey |
| 2 celery stalks, halved |
| 1 onion, peeled and quartered |
| Pepper, to taste |
| Salt, to taste |
Directions:
- Season turkey with salt and pepper.
- Put the turkey in the slow cooker, layer celery, onion, butter and parsley on top.
- Pour in the white wine, covering the top of the turkey.
- Turn heat on slow cooker to low, cook 7-9 hours.
